PCE Club - 61st Monthly Event
2008/09/13 6:30pm-9:30pm
PCE Club's 61st event
Monthly Events
Dear Clubbers and Friends,
You are cordially invited to attend the PCE Club's 61st event to be held in the Asian Cultural Center in Edison on Saturday evening of Sept 13, 2008 from 6:30pm - 9:30pm.
This will be an informal gathering focusing on some of the topics being
discussed in the club's online forum, i.e. this yahoo list. We've been sharing thoughts on Chinese students studying in American high schools (pros and cons), heartfelt feelings of the parents towards China not being well understood by their ABC children, teens doing hard things, thoughts beyond spectacular opening and closing ceremonies of Beijing Olympics, etc. From all these discussions, our horizons are expanded, our vision widened, our views deepened. If ever we could get together to further explore these topics in person, wouldn't that be exciting and fulfilling? Besides it is a good time for us to celebrate the mid-autumn festival. You are welcome to bring mooncakes to share with each other.
It has been a while since we last met in the Asian Cultural Center before our rafting/camping (60th event) and the picnic event (59th). Our kids are missing their turns to perform. Bring your kids and encourage them to perform at the stage particularly reserved for them before they step out to a larger stage.
If you are interested in joining us at this event, please register here.
Agenda:
6:30pm-7:00pm: networking/socializing

7:30pm-8:30pm: kids talent show
8:15pm-9:30pm: Discussion of online forum topics

Yingting
